Girls’ Night

We are teaming up with North Avenue Youth Club to host a Sports Taster night for the local Girls of Chelmsford- all for free!

The Youth Centre, located on Kings Road in Chelmsford, said they are struggling to find out what sports the Girls who visit them want to do. Therefore, Women Time are putting on a range of activities to see which is the most popular and which can be run regularly from the club.

Activities will include:

  • Netball – with our “Get Back Into” team.
  • Football – with the FA
  • Self-defence skills – train with an ex Police Officer
  • Cycling- including a bike MOT with Happy Handlebars
  • Shimmy ‘n’ Groove – a dance focused fitness class

The event will take place on the 19th of September at the Youth Club between 6-8pm. Women between the ages of 14-25 are invited but mothers are encouraged to attend with their daughters.

No need to book, just turn up!

Walk for Life – Farleigh Hospice

Farleigh Hospice are pleased to announce that an incredible £80,000 was raised at the annual Walk for Life event on Sunday 21st May. The sponsored event, which this year celebrated its 25th anniversary, saw 830 participants enjoying a leisurely stroll across the Essex countryside on one of two scenic routes.

In 2016 as part of the woMEn TIME team we raised over £800 and loved every step of the way! so I would love to say a massive thank and congratulations to all of the ladies that completed the walk for life.
