The Exercise Referral scheme, which is supported by Mid Essex Clinical Commissioning Group, provides a personalised exercise programme for adults (16 years+) who are referred by their GP or practice nurse.

At woMEn TIME we have different levels of group running aimed to suit all individuals whilst still being sociable and non- competitive.
SheRuns Beginner– this has been adapted from our original class couch to 5km. It is aimed at the new runner who is learning about basic running techniques such as intervals and hill training. You will be in a group of a similar ability so there is no need to be worried and you get regular breaks. This will not be a continuous run so please don’t feel you will be left behind or you need to attend the class with a set fitness level.
SheRuns Intermediate/advanced– this class is aimed at the more experience runner who is looking to push to the next level. We ask that you are able to complete a 5km run but don’t state the time this needs to be done in. The session will still look at training techniques such a intervals, hills, fartlek and heart rate zone training. The class is not based on speed so please feel welcomed regardless of the time it takes you to complete a run.

To keep you occupied why not try Park RUN? Park RUN is a 5km run, jog or walk that you can use to train or to get fit as part of your routine.
Location: Central Park, Chelmsford
There is always a leader on a bike who will guide you around the 5km course
You only have to register once and then are timed every week to monitor your progress. Then just turn up!
Park RUNNERS will help you focus on improving your running technique, stamina, speed, interval training and overall strength and conditioning.
Sessions are held predominately on our synthetic floodlit outdoor track, as well as local parks. The indoor track facilities are included for physical preparation sessions to strengthen the body to become a better runner.
Sessions are suitable for adults and children above 8 years.

This sessions is for the mind and Body. Pilates aims to strengthen the body in an even way, with particular emphasis on core strength to improve general fitness and wellbeing.

1. You do not need to pre-book, but please be aware places are limited and demand is high
2. Classes are on a first come first serve basis.
3. Payments will be taken at the theatre box office in (cash only) before the class commences.
4. The instructor is will need to know if you have any medical conditions or requirements prior to the class starting.
5. You will not be able to attend the session if you are late and have missed the warm up as this is a vital part of the session to prevent injury.
6. Please ensure you wear suitable and comfortable clothes for exercising e.g. no jeans
